I have been a teacher all of my life. I am a graduate of the University of Kansas and hold a current Kansas and Missouri elementary level teaching certificate.  After teaching public school for  fifteen years, I became interested in the Montessori approach to learning and subsequently enrolled in a Preschool/Kindergarten Montessori Teacher Training Program with the North American Montessori Center out of Vancouver, Canada.  After my course work, I completed a practicum at Bellwood Christian Montessori School outside of Lincoln, Nebraska.

I am a member of The Christian Montessori Fellowship and The American Montessori Society (AMS).   It was the experience I needed, and it is with joy that I begin my second year with CCMS in Salina.
